Some behavior of the overall system is guided by Excel Spreadsheets which we call Reference Files. The following outlines which reference files exist, and how they can be used:
Investigators.xslx
This controls the order of the investigators that could be linked to a study. It further describes the exact label that should be used, if it should be displayed in the main study details page, and if it is possible for there to be more than one investigator with this type.
code | label | display | unique |
---|---|---|---|
PI | Primary Investigator | Always | Yes |
SC_I | Study Coordinator I | Always | Yes |
DEPT_CH | Department Chair | Always | Yes |
SC_II | Study Coordinator II | Optional | Yes |
AS_C | Additional Study Coordinators | Optional | No |
SI | Sub Investigator | Optional | No |
DC | Department Contact | Optional | Yes |
IRBC | IRB Coordinator | Optional | Yes |
SCI | Scientific Contact | Optional | Yes |
Documents.xslx
The Documents spreadsheet (here is an example of just the first few rows) is the canonical list of possible documents associated with a study. Only documents in this list can be uploaded during the course of a workflow. These documents, when passed on to the IRB for review, will be named according to their category. The id column must match the id provided by the Protocol Builder API. This will allow us to correctly identify documents that were requested by the Protocol Builder.
