So far, we are planning a decentralised twitter dApp (<a href="https://github.com/status-im/dappcon-workshop-dapp">https://github.com/status-im/dappcon-workshop-dapp</a>). It is still being worked on, so is not fully functional. And of course, we could brand it with Status UI if that is desirable (would appreciate input on this).
Firstly, how do you feel about the dApp? I believe @rramos did a dapp for another workshop recently. What did you end up workshopping @rramos? Could possibly take some queues from the previous workshop?
My current approach/focus for the workshop was going to be geared as exemplifying how embark can be used a dApp framework to enable build and deploy of dApps, and hopefully providing enough ?wow? to get some devs to either start out using embark, or switch from the ?others?. In that regard, I think keeping the dApp fairly simple would be best to keep it in that timeframe. Any other thoughts around this are welcome.
*Things that may be needed from marketing/design*
The Gnosis team (who is organising DappCon) has asked for a title of our workshop. I can definitely come up with something generic, but thought it might be best to run it by the marketing team first. This information is due July 4th and is changable after we provide it. I could provide a basic title, ie ?Decentralised Twitter using embark by Status? if that suits and then modify when we have come together on something else later?
Forgive me as I've never run a workshop before, but I was imagining that we would provide an instruction set or workbook that could be used during the workshop to aid developers in following along. At a basic level, I was just going to use the README.md for these instructions, but I thought it also would be wise to ask for your input, if maybe we want to get something Status branded up.</div></div></div><br/>

It's an ERC721 marketplace. My idea is to provide a frontend with all methods related to communicating with ethereum or IPFS being unimplemented, so the participants can work on the implementation with me. It will be a mix of livecoding / workshop.</div></div></div><br/>
