Janic Duplessis 1d37dd063c Native Animated - Add tests on iOS
Summary:
Adds unit tests to the Native Animated implementation on iOS. This pretty much mirrors the tests we currently have on Android.

It also fixes 2 bugs I've found when adding the tests and pass the current time in `stepAnimation` instead of using `CACurrentMediaTime` to make testing easier.

- `stopListeningToAnimatedNodeValue` did not actually work at all, it should set the listener to nil.
- The finished value in the animation end callback was always true, this simplifies the `RCTAnimationDriver` interface to get rid of `removeAnimation` and fixes the end callback value.

**Test plan**
- Run the tests
- Make sure the UIExplorer example still works

Pieter De Baets e1577df1fd Move all header imports to "<React/..>"
Summary:
To make React Native play nicely with our internal build infrastructure we need to properly namespace all of our header includes.

Where previously you could do `#import "RCTBridge.h"`, you must now write this as `#import <React/RCTBridge.h>`. If your xcode project still has a custom header include path, both variants will likely continue to work, but for new projects, we're defaulting the header include path to `$(BUILT_PRODUCTS_DIR)/usr/local/include`, where the React and CSSLayout targets will copy a subset of headers too. To make Xcode copy headers phase work properly, you may need to add React as an explicit dependency to your app's scheme and disable "parallelize build".

Martin Kralik 26e373c903 fix view clipping to operate on ui hierachy
Summary:
There was a bug in the view clipping logic.
Clipping works on uiview hierarchy, but I've been using `reactSuperview` to get clipping rect for my parent.
This is incorrect in a case where these two hierarchies don't match and there are some views between a view and its `reactSuperview`.

So we should really use normal `superview`. A minor complication is that `superview` is `nil` if we are clipped.
We could remember what our last `superview` was, but that's extra data we have to manage. Instead I use one clever trick to avoid doing so.
(Let me know if it makes sense based on my inline documentation.)

> App Transport Security (ATS) is enabled by default for apps linked against the iOS 9.0 or OS X v10.11 SDKs or later, as indicated by the default Boolean value of NO for the NSAllowsArbitraryLoads key. This key is at the root level of the NSAppTransportSecurity dictionary.
With ATS enabled, HTTP connections must use HTTPS (RFC 2818). Attempts to connect using insecure HTTP fail. ATS employs the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol version 1.2 (RFC 5246). For background on secure Internet connections, read HTTPS Server Trust Evaluation.

Leo Natan 3ac3749ac3 Fix for Unicode decoding issue when using incremental networking.
Summary:
This is **a critical issue**.

The issue arises when incremental networking is enabled from JS by setting `onprogress` or `onload` on an `XMLHttpRequest` object.

The results:

![example1](https://cloud.githubusercontent.com/assets/2270433/18829964/5a54ff30-83e7-11e6-9806-97857dce0430.png)

Unicode characters get corrupted seemingly in random. The issue is from the way Unicode character parsing is handled in `RCTNetworking.mm`. When incremental networking is enabled, each chunk of data is decoded and passed to JS:

```objective-c
incrementalDataBlock = ^(NSData *data, int64_t progress, int64_t total) {
NSString *responseString = [RCTNetworking decodeTextData:data fromResponse:task.response];
if (!responseString) {
  RCTLogWarn(@"Received data was not a string, or was not a recognised encoding.");
  return;
}
NSArray<id> *responseJSON = @[task.requestID, responseString, @(prog
Neil Sarkar c144bbfb7e Allow serializing underlying NSError objects, closes #10506
Summary:
Explain the **motivation** for making this change. What existing problem does the pull request solve?
See https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/10506. A native `NSError` with `NSUnderlyingErrorKey` set causes a JSON stringify error from the websocket dispatcher if remote debugging is enabled.
**Test plan (required)**
I'm not familiar with the react native testing framework. Happy to add a test for this if someone can point me to where this part of the codebase is exercised :)
I did some spot checks with nil user dictionaries and nil underlying errors here. The case that this solves is testable using https://github.com/superseriouscompany/react-native-error-repro, specifically:
```objective-c
NSError *underlyingError = [NSError errorWithDomain:@"underlyingDomain" code:421 userInfo:nil];
NSError *err = [NSError errorWithDomain:@"domain" code:68 userInfo:@{@"NSUnderlyingError": underlyingError}];

reject(@"foo", @"bar", err);

Alex Kotliarskyi e2b25c8c9d Add multipart response stream reader
Summary:
Packager can take a long time to load and the progress is usually displayed in another window (Terminal). I'm adding support for showing a UI inside React Native app for packager's progress when loading a bundle.

This is how it will work:

1. React Native sends request to packager with `Accept: multipart/mixed` header.
2. Packager will detect that header to detect that client supports progress events and will reply with `Content-Type: multipart/mixed`.
3. While building the bundle it will emit chunks with small metadata (like `{progress: 0.3}`). In the end it will send the last chunk with the content of the bundle.
4. RN runtime will be receiving the events, for each progress event it will update the UI. The last chunk will be the actual bundle which will end the download process.

This workflow is totally backwards-compatible -- normally RN doesn't set the `Accept` header.

alvaromb e52cab5a7f Adds the ability to use UIManager to check if a node is an ancestor
Summary:
Sometimes is handy to check if a React node is a descendant of another node or not. For instance, I want to check if the focused `TextInput` is descendant of an specific `ScrollView`:

```js
const currentlyFocusedField = TextInput.State.currentlyFocusedField()
UIManager.viewIsAncestorOf(
  currentlyFocusedField,
  this.getInnerViewNode(),
  (isAncestor) => {
    if (isAncestor) {
      console.log('The focused field is a descendant of this ScrollView!')
    }
  }
)
```

This function uses the same strategy as the `measureLayout` method to check if one node is an ancestor of other node. As the `measureLayout` method, this is performed outside the main thread.

By now I've only implemented the iOS version and its tests, but if this function is going to be merged I'll implement the Android version too. I have objc experience but no Java or Android, so I prefer to validate this functionality before jumping into developing the Android part.

Nick Lockwood 46c02b6ae5 Refactored subview management
Summary:
This diff refactors the view update process into two stages:

1. The `reactSubviews` array is set, whose order matches the order of the JS components and shadowView components, as specified by the UIManager.
2. The `didUpdateReactSubviews` method is called, which actually inserts the reactSubviews into the view hierarchy.

This simplifies a lot of the hacks we had for special-case treatment of subviews: In many cases we don't want to actually insert `reactSubviews` into the parentView, and we had a bunch of component-specific solutions for that (typically overriding all of the reactSubviews methods to store views in an array). Now, we can simply override the `didUpdateReactSubviews` method for those views to do nothing, or do something different.
