Status is a p2p application, you are responsible for your data and what you share with the Ethereum public blockchain. You can optionally share your phone number with us which is hashed prior to sending to our servers, and we only use it to match your contact with your contacts.

During alpha we implement Instabug which collects information about your device when you submit feedback to us, you can read their privacy policy here.

The email you submit anywhere on status.im or its related brands (this includes sharing via GitHub credentials) are collected by HubSpot, you can read their privacy policy here.

Your email may also be shared with Google Play & Apple Testflight as alpha/beta tester, part of the Early Access Program. We will send you emails containing news, updates and related information unless you unsubscribe.
