Parameters

pname:device::
    A handle to the device with which to create the image.

pname:pCreateInfo::
    A pointer to a slink:VkImageCreateInfo structure specifying the properties of the new image.

pname:pImage::
    A pointer to a variable to receive the handle to the resulting image.

Description
-----------

fname:vkCreateImage creates a new image object and places the resulting handle in the variable pointed
to by pname:pImage. The properties of the new image are specified in an instance of a slink:VkImageCreateInfo
structure whose address is given in pname:pCreateInfo. The definition of slink:VkImageCreateInfo is:
