smoke.yaml never set redundancy > 1, so the R-cascade aggregation and the two redundancy figures were only covered by unit tests, never by the end-to-end run. Adding redundancy: [1, 2] takes smoke from 17 to 19 of the 21 figure builders (only delay_vs_N and the churn-percolation figure need grids smoke does not have).
